This bird was very active - constantly walking around. On the day of the initial sighting as well as today, the bird appeared to spend much time on the reservoir levee, where it appeared to feed on tiny (hardly visible) flying insects. (Some of my other photos show the flying insects near this bird. In the past I have noticed that American Pipits frequent this levee, doing the same.) [Feb. 29, 2004]
